The current state of the German Mobile Telecommunication Research Programme is introduced. The Programme was initiated by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and is performed by the Federal Office for Radiation Protection. Concerning the possible health impact of HF-EMF, a total of 52 research projects are executed from 2002 to 2007 in four scientific fields: biology, dosimetry, epidemiology and risk communication. The total financial volume of the program is 17 Mio. euros. Final results of the programme are expected in the middle of 2008.
