This article presents a numerical model of a human vagus nerve stimulation therapy. The authors demonstrate methodology allowing to model both the direct electrical stimulator used for years in medical practice as well as the conceptual indirect magnetic stimulation used in computer experiments. The mathematical model of neural tissue excitation combined with a realistic 3D numerical model of the neck with the vagus nerve is described.
