The pressure grouted helical anchor is an innovative soil-cement helical anchor using the simultaneous drilling and pressure grouting technique. This paper presents a field study and numerical simulation to analyze the load-displacement behavior of single pressure grouted helical anchor anchored in marine soft soil deposit. Three full-scale anchors were tested under monotonic tension loading to analysis the effect of the Influence of helix plates configuration on lifting capacity. A symmetric three-dimension finite element method (3-D FEM) model was created and calibrated based on the site investigation and the field test data. The calibrated 3-D FEM model was utilized to examine the failure criterion of the pressure grouted helical anchors according to the load diffusion mechanism and the anchor resistance profile. A parametric study was conducted to propose an equation for estimating the uplift capacity of the pressure grouted helical anchors. The outcome of the research will lead to the development of design guidelines for the uplift capacity of the pressure grouted helical anchors in clay.
