Ancient trees are the witnesses of the long-standing Chinese culture, as well as the carriers of important history and culture, which tell us the vicissitudes of the human world during the centuries. The ancient forest, moreover, is a treasure left to us by history, and is a living fossil, a living relic, a priceless treasure. Taking Ancient Mulberry Garden in the imperial forest as an example, the article elaborates the importance and necessity of developing and utilizing the ancient forest from three aspects: the history of Ancient Mulberry Garden, the important status of ancient mulberry forest, and the development and utilization of Ancient Mulberry Garden in the imperial forest and recreational measures. This includes a study of the current situation of Ancient Mulberry Garden in the imperial forest to propose problems and improvement measures for the development of Ancient Mulberry Garden in the imperial forest. This paper analyzes the historical changes of ancient mulberry garden, the important position of ancient mulberry forest and the current construction of ancient mulberry garden, and put forward corresponding solutions.
