Abstract

Let (C,0) be a germ of a plane curve singularity defined by f∊C{x,y}, if we denote by Σ the sum semigroup of the semigroup of values of C, we want to decide whether f is irreducible or not just by computing the contact with the Polar in any direction h and comparing it with c(Σ)+(f,h)−1.
