We present a prototype for implementing a framework for handling temporal information using the CTCN (Causal Temporal Constraint Networks) model as the representational schema. In this prototype, named FTAE (Fuzzy Temporal Analysis of Events), the information is structured—according to its characteristics and temporal granularity—in terms of different interpretation contexts that are connected to each other via an inference mechanism that handles imprecision in temporal objects using a fuzzy logic paradigm.
