In this paper, we provide a multi-agent based model for an efficient and reliable Smart Grid simulation. Our model is based on appropriate mathematical theories to get an efficient modeling of complex systems. We specifically focus on Smart Grid, which is a typical complex system due to the heterogeneity of actors, economic issues and material aspects. It takes into account the heterogeneity of components, links them with a generalized proximity concept, and guarantee an optimal smooth functioning of the global system.
