This paper presents a Query-By-Object (QBO) based bus routing search system. The system includes two search methods: QBO search and bus search. The QBO search finds accurate city information in complex conditions. It codes in SQL in multiple steps. Each step selects two objects and one spatial operation (within, near, in, or disjoint). The previous search result will be used as an object for the next step search. The bus route search gets the bus route between two places which are the results of the QBO search. The system interface is designed to fit the screen size of various devices such as smartphones, tablets, and desktops. The system is developed with open-source software and open data. It can be used without any cost. The city information and bus information in Aizu-Wakamatsu City with geographic data are used in this system as a case study.
