Today's healthcare systems are facing huge challenges related to the aging of population, availability of resources, development and availability of new technology and individual empowerment. A Microsoft Healthcare belief is that people are the key to success, whether success is measured by healthy patients or a healthy bottom line, that knowledge is a strong enabler of transformation of healthcare delivery, that IT is an agent of change and last, but equally important, Health IT needs to be available to many, not just some.
