This paper covers the development of the “Science Net” - an e-learning system for science education at the elementary school level. The authors also analyze relationship between the number of students accessing the system and the consequent effectiveness of learning via questionnaire. The results show that the contents of “schedules of lessons” serve not only the purpose of allowing the student to prepare for the next lesson but also provide useful science education. In addition, students report that it is useful to check lessons when they are absent by downloading worksheets and ask questions of a teacher via a bulletin board system (BBS). And then, reflection learning of 'Science Net' has a close relationship with interest in science.
