In this paper, we discuss efforts to improve the adaptive feedback provided by a pedagogical agent for an educational-game on number factorization. The improvements targeted both the form of the feedback as well as the accuracy of the student model that the agent uses to decide when and how to intervene. We present preliminary results of a study to evaluate the impact of this improved feedback on the game's pedagogical effectiveness
