In order to cultivate the sound personality of college students, the problem discovery and management platform of ideological and political education for college students based on data mining was proposed. Rely on the relevant technologies of data mining and database, establish a prevention platform for ideological and political education problems of college students. It aims to overcome the limitations of time and space, analyze the ideological and political education problems of all college students with accurate data, and find and solve problems in time. The system test results show that the average score index standard, based on a score greater than 1.5, calculates the number of students with abnormal symptoms. The Apriori algorithm of association rules is used to mine the relationship between 10 ideological and political factors in the selected dataset. Conclusion: To better help higher colleges carry out prevention and treatment of ideological and political education problems.
