With the rapid development of the Internet, network information, as a core element of the information society, has seen the widespread adoption and acceleration of green principles. This paper, based on the analysis of the concept of the information ecosystem, summarizes its theoretical development status. On this basis, it proposes three elements of green design in the Internet information society: comprehensive information ecological position, a user-centric information service mindset, and the construction of a secure network environment. The goal is to analyze green design in the context of the information society, present specific green design elements and implementation approaches, and construct a harmonious online information ecosystem.
