In the era of digital economy, the development and application of digital technology bring new opportunities and challenges to manufacturing enterprises. By collecting and analyzing data from 269 manufacturing enterprises, we explore the influence mechanism of digital technology affordance on business model innovation. It is found that: digital technology cumulative affordance and variant affordance have a positive impact on business model innovation; technological opportunity capabilities play a partial mediating role between digital technology cumulative affordance and variant affordance.
