With the development of science and technology, the vehicle with fixed-shape wings will be difficult to break through the upgrading anti-missile systems and intercepting weapons. To meet the challenges, the morphing vehicle have been paid more and more attention. In wind tunnel tests of a hypersonic vehicle, a kind of morphing mechanism applied to the test model is proposed. Through the combined application of screw transmission and planar crank-slider mechanism, the sweep angle of the wings can be changed continuously in the limits, until that the wings are hidden exactly under the airframe. By performing kinematics and dynamics analysis, it establishes the relationship between the sweep angle and the motor drive command. The morphing process is simulated by using the software UG. The design of morphing mechanism is feasible.
