Natural disasters Gale weather or cable icing will cause irregular vibration of the cable, which will cause potential harm to the safety of the power tower and the strength of the cable structure. The two-end fiber Mach-Zehnder optical path technology is used to develop the cable vibration sensor to realize long-distance, large-scale and multi-dimensional online monitoring and structural safety early warning. The detector is constructed with thin-wall sensitized cable sleeve, and the laser fiber Mach-Zehnder coherent optical path is built with high-sensitivity fine fiber and coupler. The Mach-Zehnder interferometer is very sensitive to vibration signals, and the interferometer is packaged into a specific metal shell to realize the packaging and integration of the vibration monitoring sensor. The laser fiber sensor optical system has high sensitivity. Advantages of high signal-to-noise ratio. The finite element analysis shows that the natural frequency is 106.77Hz, which is only 1.65% error with the experimental data. The experimental results show that the relative sensitivity of the detector is 41.25∼66.78dB re rad/g in the range of 0-140Hz, which confirms its high sensitivity to the detection of vibration signals.
