With the increase of tunnel operational time, more and more tunnels have entered the period of high incidence of diseases. Among many tunnel diseases, floor heave is particularly prominent, which seriously affects the traffic and structural safety of tunnels. Through the detailed field investigation of 12 operating highway tunnels of Gansu Province, the main manifestations of floor heave were counted. The floor heave is mainly the result of single or combined action of high ground stress, groundwater, expansive surrounding rock and construction quality. Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of floor heave and the literature research, the common treatment measures for tunnel floor heave disease were summarized. And the application analysis was carried out for the treatment of floor heave disease in Qinlingguan tunnel. The research results have certain guiding significance for the mechanism analysis and prevention practices of floor heave in soft rock tunnel.
