In this study four different fiber reinforced composites have been prepared with different fine ground limestone powder (FLP)/ cement (C) ratios as 1/1, 1.5/1, 2/1 and 2.5/1, respectively. HRWR admixture and HTPP fiber dosage were kept constant for all mixtures. The W/C ratio was in the range of ∼0.50–0.55. Cement paste volume has been decreased by increasing FLP/C ratios. Fresh state characteristics of ECC mixtures such as the marsh cone flow times of matrix phases (without mortar) and spread-flow diameters have been measured. The uniaxial tensile properties of dogbone shaped specimens have been determined. Tensile stress-strain curves plotted and the crack pattern photographs at definite strain values (0–4%) were captured. Results showed that there is an optimum fine ground limestone powder (FLP)/ cement (C) ratio as 1.5 where tensile ductility of 2.32% can be reached at 4.02 MPa tensile strength without any significant strength loss and fiber clumping problem.
