As the land for UHV transmission lines slowly turns to mountainous areas, the operating environment for basic construction equipment will become very complex. The uneven ground and steep slopes are problems that machines often need to overcome. The existing traditional crawler type and wheel type construction machines and tools on the market can no longer adapt to this situation. Improving the mountain operation capacity of existing construction equipment is an urgent problem to be solved at present. In view of this, this paper designs a bionic walking chassis, describes its composition and structure, and proposes a hydraulic and electrical control scheme. Compared with the existing walking chassis, the bionic walking chassis has significant advantages such as good stability, high flexibility, strong climbing ability, etc. By using the bionic walking chassis in construction equipment, road construction can be greatly reduced, project cost can be reduced, and huge social, economic and environmental benefits can be brought, and it is of great significance to improve the national grid construction level.
