Research on Optimization Model of Traffic Light Timing Based on Multi-Objective Programming—Take Jude Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City as an Example
This paper collects the data of a certain intersection of Jude Road in Guangzhou, and through the analysis of the survey data, it is proved that the traffic flow obeys the Poisson distribution. Combined with the characteristic that the arriving traffic volume obeys Poisson distribution, the relevant knowledge of traffic flow is used to analyze and study the intersection, and the Webster timing algorithm and the multi-objective optimal signal light timing algorithm are used to optimize the timing of the traffic lights at the intersection. This paper compares the optimization degree of the current status of the delay time, the number of stops, the traffic capacity, the average fuel consumption and carbon emission of each vehicle at the intersection under two different timing methods. Finally, a reasonable traffic light timing scheme is proposed for this intersection.
