A large field of research among the community is presently the exploration of the potential created by the deployment of smart sensors, throughout an apartment, for the analysis of daily life of smart homes inhabitants. Another subject is the embodiment of various types of sensors on the body to detect characteristic such as movement (activity), biometric data (monitoring), localization, etc. useful for a more precise analysis of the condition of this person. The novelty of this study is to present a new concept using the conjunction of these two approaches and in determining how the synergy between wearable and home sensors can contribute to building greater overall precision and reliability of a system of ADL (Activity of Daily Living) detection, and by-there, the quality of the help provided by a better knowledge of what is doing by the occupant(s). A wireless network of smart sensors, wearable by inhabitants of a smart environment (home, transport, public place …), is in development and the concept is presented. The system is composed of three components: two bracelets and a small box attached to the trunk. The body movements are analyzed to predict the current activity, in order to provide an intelligent support.
