Assembly quality is the most important in determining the reliability of aircraft service. Obtaining the assembly process with the best assembly quality is essential. This paper aims at the high quality and high efficiency manufacturing requirements of XF21 light sport aircraft. Based on t the seven-axis robot (6+1), the XF21 light sport aircraft rotary production line of assembly was designed. And using the PDM module of DELMIA, the 3D digital assembly environment of the XF21 aircraft assembly is established, which can simulate the assembly process of key components of the XF21 aircraft. Based on the environment, the assembly process under different assembly paths was simulated. This study provides a large amount of real and reliable data for actual production to shorten lead times, improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
