Accelerated population growth and climate change, consequences of anthropic action, have brought negative impacts to the environment. In order to evaluate and minimize, or even delay these effects, new means have emerged, such as the Biobased economy, Circular economy, and Bioeconomy. This study aims to provide a structured literature review in order to identify the state of the art of the Bioeconomy axis, along with Circular economy and Sustainability. With the aid of the Proknow-C methodology, which approaches the techniques of bibliometric and systemic analysis, 2293 articles were compiled. Among those, 19 articles have been selected for reading and searching for systemic guidelines. From this analysis, it was possible to identify the main points that should guide future research in the field.
