In order to know the position of moving target in real time, the problem of accurate mobile location is an important subject to be studied. The mobile deployment of communication nodes in wireless sensor network and the utilization of the location algorithm can effectively solve the problem of mobile target location in underground coal mine. After analyzing the characteristics and disadvantages of the traditional Monte Carlo localization algorithm (MCL), this paper improved some algorithms including sampling, filtering and other key links, then it presented an improved scheme that nodes to be located can actively request location. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm(MCLZ) has better performance than the MCL algorithm in some aspects such as real-time character of location, density and moving speed of node, and cost of location output.
