The generality of people living in modern societies are these days converted to the usage of mobile devices. There are a myriad of functionalities, which are of use in daily tasks as developers try to address each one's needs. Some devices are meant to provide music others communication services and others all that and much more. The technological trends place connected devices everywhere, in a so called Internet of Things, a vision that is becoming materialized in personal scenarios like in intelligent homes where domotics provides devices for user's comfort and amusement. However, with all those communicating devices with underlying computational power, it is questionable what benefits can be achieved by a person acquainted to a daily usage of such devices. Research reported in this paper tried to find answers and point directions for a true health benefit of mobile and remote devices by retrieving physiological and sensorial information supported by the cloud.
