In this paper, we present a novel methodology to evaluate the wheelchair accessibility of architectural designs. The novelty is that the wheelchair operates under a fully dynamic environment using advanced and fast motion planning, which takes into account the virtual user's dynamic constraints. An elderly virtual user model has been tested under a hospital CAD design, depicting several and important accessibility issues.
