When evaluating student network construction exercises with virtual machines, teachers must spend so much time analyzing student work that they interrupt the students' progress. We propose a support system to help teachers analyze the solution process. Our LiNeS system has the following functions. It collects students' virtual management network (VMN) operations and results and stores them in a database on the network. It then generates graphs that illustrate students' progress according to dependence of correct operations for problem statements and students' VMN operations. Lastly, LiNeS displays progress graphs, operational histories, and ”next correct” operations on teachers PCs on the network.
