In this Internet-connected world across the globe surrounded by mobile phones, social media, cloud computing and contents, these information resources are owned by the five big technology fiefs – Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft. In this study, we focus on Google's platform strategies on how to manage and utilize its platform to deliver information from core business to partners of its ecosystem (Government/Companies, Innovators, Advertisers/Consumers, Software/Application Developers, Media Companies/Individuals), based on the concepts of platform dominance, dynamic capabilities, cross-platform integration and coopetition. We aim to generate unique strategies to extend Google's business models and its mission “to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful” for future Internet-connected world.
